An increase in numbers and quality with fed sheep forward in greater numbers to improve the weekly SQQ by 6-8pkg, to level at 358.48pkg. Topping at £247 (525.5pkg) for 47kg Beltex from Lauren Gray, Prospect Farm. Pence per kilo honours to Pat Rae, Greenah Hall with 42kg Beltex at 559.5pkg (£235)

CAST EWES – 158
Ewe Average a creditable £196.46.
A good show of Ewes if a little short on numbers. The better end catching strong interest to a top of £315 for Texels from Messrs GN Bowe & Sons, Bothel Parks
