Exciting news, we're launching another breakfast seminar in Jersey!

"Is it ok to say..?" will taking place next month at Jersey War Tunnels.

Even though the Discrimination Law (2013) is now firmly established in Jersey, many employers continue to have questions about what this means in practice within the workplace. Common questions include whether it is still appropriate to share humour at work, discuss cultural backgrounds, or talk about and celebrate different religious or cultural festivals.

We are inviting employers, business leaders and HR managers to join us for a short session where our training partner, Paul Beard will help explore what is and is not appropriate in today’s workplace environment. There will also be time for questions, and we will explain how Focus can support your business to minimise risk, promote inclusion, and navigate the practical implications of Jersey’s discrimination legislation with confidence.

This event is taking place on Tuesday 23rd June 2026. Aim to arrive for 7:45am, help yourself to the breakfast options provided and be seated ready for the talk to start at 8:00am.

This is a free to attend event and ticket numbers are limited! Don't miss out! Reserve your place today: www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/focus-breakfast-seminar-is-it-ok-to-say-tickets-1990167963954

We are finalising further events across the Channel Islands as we speak, so keep an eye on our social media channels for further announcements.

For any questions about this event or about our training services, please email [email protected]
