“ A group for FMGE Aspirants” is one such solution. It caters to medical degree holders from foreign medical institutions who after completing their training abroad could not pass the FMGE exam. We developed a solution by tying up with an overseas company, that would allow such aspirants to register for a simpler licensure exam in Africa, pass the exam, and complete a one-year internship in Africa to obtain the medical licence.
An African medical licence allows the licensee to practise medicine in most African countries, which are traditionally deficient in medical doctors and medical facilities. Doctors practising in Africa can get higher remuneration and salaries, as compared to what they can get in India. They can also earn during their internship.
The aspirants after getting their licence from Africa can also register for and pass the licensing exam in the US/UK and Canada and practice in those countries, without having to undergo expensive studies for a medical degree in those countries.
It's a neat and inexpensive solution to the problem. Trained medical persons who have lost hope of becoming licensed medical practitioners have another chance to renew their medical careers.
