C’è chi di notte riposa e chi cammina tra i filari della Bussia munito di torcia e infinita pazienza. 🔦🌙
In questo periodo di inizio primavera, con il risveglio della natura e l'arrivo delle temperature miti, si svegliano anche piccoli ospiti tanto famelici quanto discreti: le nottue. Sono larve di lepidotteri che di giorno si nascondono nel terreno, ma di notte risalgono la vite per fare scorpacciata delle nostre preziose gemme. 🍇
Per proteggere i germogli le raccogliamo manualmente, una ad una.
È un lavoro lungo e meticoloso, ma crediamo che la qualità e il rispetto per la terra passino soprattutto da questi piccoli, silenziosi gesti.

While some are resting at night, others are walking through the rows of Bussia armed with a torch and infinite patience. 🔦🌙
In this early spring period, with the awakening of nature and the arrival of milder temperatures, some tiny guests wake up too – as ravenous as they are discreet: noctuid moths (cutworms). These are caterpillar larvae that hide in the soil during the day, but climb up the vines at night to feast on our precious buds. 🍇
To protect the shoots, we collect them manually, one by one.
