ABOUT
We founded GEOexplorer as an academic SpinOff company in January 2014, with the aim to create an interdisciplinary group and to develop subsoil research more effectively. The basic idea was to expand in the sectors covered by our PhD studies. We kept the qualification of "Innovative Start-up" for the first 5 years of activity, growing within both the CGT Group and the Business Incubator of U
niversity of Siena (Cavriglia, AR, Italy). Today we are an "Innovative SME" by means of which we have consolidated our experience, developing over 100 projects in 13 different countries, joining as partner or sub-contractor in numerous European funded research projects and investing every year in R&D by financing scholarships, grants and PhDs. We are operating in our 3 offices in San Giovanni Valdarno (AR, Italy), Cavriglia (AR, Italy) and Ferrara. MISSION
"Methods and technologies for environmental exploration". Our goal is to support you in solving problems related to subsoil and environment, using advanced technologically as well as modern methodologies and equipment. We work with a multidisciplinary team able to operate in various fields: environmental surveys, water research, slope stability studies, geology applied to engineering, geomatics, mining prospecting, monitoring of natural radioactivity, and archeology. PEOPLE
We are geologists, engineers, physicists and archeologists. Our trainings are based on PhD studies performed at the Center for GeoTechnologies (University of Siena) and the Department of Physics and Earth Sciences (University of Ferrara). During these research periods we specialized in the following sectors: Applied geophysics, Nuclear geophysics, Applied hydrogeology and exploration to support archeology research. We are a group of young people with a strong predisposition for technological innovation: some among us has developed a patent in the field of radioactivity environmental monitoring and we are all continuously involved in scientific papers publishing.
