𝐒𝐔𝐋𝐋𝐀 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐀 𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐀 𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐌𝐌𝐈𝐀
Mentre si discute di riscaldamento globale, ondate di calore e ghiacciai che si sciolgono, qui si vendemmia. E a memoria d’uomo la vendemmia 2026 sembra essere la più precoce di sempre.
Al di là di una avventata e per ora prematura valutazione sulla sua qualità, mi sembra più interessante provare ad elencare i 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥𝐢 𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢 𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢 𝐝𝐢 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐚.

𝐓𝐫𝐚 𝐢 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢:
⇥ riduzione drastica dei trattamenti
⇥ assenza di piogge durante il periodo di raccolta
⇥ distribuzione misurata e calcolata degli impegni e dei ritmi vendemmiali.

𝐓𝐫𝐚 𝐢 𝐧𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢:
⇥ tempi di maturazione fenologica abbreviati
⇥ sommatorie termiche più elevate della norma
⇥ assenza prolungata di eventi piovosi naturali

Una bella sfida …. Noi ci siamo, con l’impegno, con le conoscenze e con la passione di sempre.

While the world debates global warming, heatwaves and melting glaciers, here we are harvesting. And as far back as anyone can remember, the 2026 harvest appears to be the earliest ever.
Leaving aside any hasty and, for now, premature judgement on its quality, I find it more interesting to consider the main positive and negative aspects of this vintage.

𝐀𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬:
⇥ a drastic reduction in treatments
⇥ no rainfall during the harvest period
⇥ a measured and carefully planned allocation of tasks and harvesting rhythms

𝐀𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬:
⇥ shortened phenological ripening periods
⇥ higher-than-average temperatures
⇥ a prolonged absence of natural rainfall

A real challenge… We are ready to face it, with the same commitment, expertise and passion as always.

In the Friulian language, 𝐿𝑎 𝑉𝑖𝑙𝑎 refers to the heart of the village: the centre of community life, where social and religious activities took place and people gathered to spend time together, share stories and exchange news. We have dedicated our single-varietal to this concept: a w**e that embodies the identity of Friulian w**e-growing culture.

𝐎𝐫𝐞 𝟓.𝟒𝟎 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝟏𝟒.𝟎𝟖.𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔
Giovane volpino, dalla bella coda -pare in ottima salute-, si disseta ad un rigagnolo prodotto dall’acqua utilizzata per aiutare le viti di ribolla a fronteggiare lo stress da calore e siccità di questi giorni. Un incontro che racconta quanto la vigna sia parte di un ambiente vivo, condiviso ogni giorno con chi lo abita.

𝟓.𝟒𝟎 𝐚.𝐦. 𝐨𝐧 𝟏𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔
A young fox, with a beautiful tail - looking in excellent health –, quenches its thirst at a trickle formed by the water being used to help the Ribolla vines cope with the heat and drought of recent days. An encounter that reminds us just how much the vineyard is part of a living environment, shared every day with those who inhabit it.

A San Lorenzo celebriamo il santo patrono: è la notte delle stelle cadenti.
Per gli antichi romani le stelle che cadevano dal cielo durante quella notte erano la manifestazione del dio Priapo che portava abbondanza, buona fortuna e prosperità alla terra.

In San Lorenzo, we celebrate our patron saint: it is the night of the shooting stars.
For the ancient Romans, the stars falling from the sky on that night were believed to be a manifestation of the god Priapus, who brought abundance, good fortune and prosperity to the land.

Di stagioni che precedono la vendemmia ne abbiamo viste più di una, nessuna uguale all’altra, ma questa si distingue in modo particolare. È una bella sfida!

📅 𝐎𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝟗.𝟎𝟎 𝐩𝐦, Lis Neris will host the Doré Quartet for a musical journey through the works of Haydn and Dvořák. Before the concert, there will be a performance by the Scampanotadors (bell ringers) of San Lorenzo Isontino.

In vigna, la natura si scopre con tutti i sensi: si osserva, si tocca, si ascolta. Per i più piccoli, ogni passo tra i filari diventa un’occasione di meraviglia e conoscenza.
È così che nasce, fin dall’infanzia, un 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐧 𝐥𝐚 𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐚.
