Last week, colleagues from both our Jersey and Guernsey offices came together to celebrate Africa Day.

Our teams proudly represent a diverse range of African cultures, including Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, South Africa, Libya and Lesotho.

The celebration showcased African heritage through traditional food, vibrant cultural attire and music, creating a truly meaningful and memorable experience for everyone involved.

On 9 May, we mark an important moment in the history of the Channel Islands – celebrating freedom, resilience and the strength of our communities.

Across Guernsey and Jersey, people come together in different ways to reflect, remember, and celebrate. As we head into Liberation Day, we’ve been pleased to join our local communities in recognising what this day represents and to mark the occasion in our offices too, from enjoying a Jersey wonder, to hosting a coffee morning and our very own quiz.

Will the Jersey Bull's Women be crowned league champions this Sunday?

A major milestone awaits the Jersey Bulls Women’s Team. In their inaugural season, they now stand just one game away from securing promotion and being crowned league champions - a remarkable achievement in such a short period.

Their performance this season has been exceptional. With 102 goals in only 16 games, the team has shown outstanding consistency, determination, and attacking strength.

As a sponsor, we are delighted to support their journey and the ongoing growth of women’s football in Jersey. We encourage our community, partners, and colleagues to join us in supporting the team this Sunday at Springfield Stadium at 2.30pm.

And that’s a wrap for Easter School in Guernsey and Jersey.

Pupils have spent the week creating bands, rehearsing, busking, and performing their final showcases at The Farmhouse and The Sundown.

We’re delighted to support and with a range of events throughout the year, helping to create opportunities, build confidence, and inspire young people across both islands.

Our teams recently celebrated Eid al‑Fitr, the celebration marking the end of Ramadan. Both the Jersey and Guernsey offices hosted their own gatherings, bringing people together through shared meals and opportunities to explore the meaning behind these traditions.
