At a webinar titled "Advancing To***co Tax Policy and Price Measures: Lessons from Sri Lanka," discussions focused on how specific tax structures can reduce cigarette affordability and consumption while protecting public revenue - and what this means for Bangladesh.

Representing Verité Research, our Lead Economist Raj Prabu Rajakulendran delivered a keynote unpacking Sri Lanka's experience. The session also featured a special appearance by our Executive Director Dr. Nishan de Mel, who shared reflections on the broader regional policy implications.
