Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau In 2011, MyCEB established the International Events Unit, which is now known as Malaysia Major Events.

MyCEB was established in 2009 by Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia to further strengthen Malaysia’s business tourism brand and position for the international business events market. MyCEB serves as a central hub to assist meeting and event planners bid for and stage international as well as regional business events in Malaysia, and act as a catalyst for national product development.

The Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB), in collaboration with the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), convened PCMA Labs 2026 on 10 June 2026 at the Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown, reaffirming a shared commitment to advancing the capabilities and competitiveness of Malaysia’s Business Events industry.

The programme brought together industry professionals to explore emerging trends, innovative event solutions, and the transformative potential of Generative AI in enhancing audience engagement, operational efficiency, and event delivery. Through a series of interactive sessions, live demonstrations, and expert-led discussions, participants gained valuable insights and practical knowledge to navigate the evolving business events landscape.

MyCEB Strengthens Business Events Engagement in Uzbekistan

The Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) successfully concluded its inaugural Sales Call Programme in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on 4 June 2026, marking a significant milestone in expanding Malaysia’s business events footprint within the Central Asian market.

Organised with the support of Tourism Malaysia Almaty and the Embassy of Malaysia in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the programme showcased Malaysia’s diverse business events capabilities and world-class offerings for meetings, incentives, conferences, exhibitions, and international events.

The engagement provided a valuable platform to strengthen bilateral relationships, foster strategic industry connections, and explore new opportunities for collaboration between Malaysia and Uzbekistan.
