Most People don't know I ever was a talking Drummer and only few knew me as a drummer but I'll skip that part....
People who knew me years ago only saw me as a pianist.
Whenever I tried to sing, it was always:
“Stick to piano.”
“That’s what you’re good at.”
“That’s your lane.”
And honestly, maybe they weren’t wrong.
At that time, that was the version of me they had encountered.
But life is funny.
People meeting me now sometimes believe I’m a better singer than pianist until Maybe I prove them wrong.
That made me realize something deep:
not everybody will see the same thing in you at the same time.
Some people will only celebrate one side of you.
Some people will misunderstand your growth because they got used to the old version of you.
And some people simply won’t like what you do no matter how gifted you are.
Not everybody loved Jesus either.
So stop waiting for universal approval before becoming who God placed inside you.
If it’s in your heart, grow it.
Work on it.
Be consistent with it.
Even if people don’t buy into it immediately.
Because sometimes the people around you are too familiar with who you were to recognize who you’re becoming.
Find your people.
Find your sound.
Find your lane.
And keep growing

CJPAULBLOW has released inspiring songs such as “Immersed in Glory” (2025) and “Above It All” (2026), reflecting her passion for creating music that uplifts and draws hearts closer to God.
Over the years, she has collaborated with notable gospel acts, including Ugee Royalty, and has been associated with Message Records, further shaping her sound and ministry journey.
