Last week, EUROJURIS International and Jurismus attended VDS 2026 at Valencia’s beautiful City of Arts and Sciences.

It was a pleasure to get together with our partner EUIPO and colleagues from EURid and 4iP Council , make new connections and exchange ideas on helping SMEs protect their brands, innovations and online presence💡

It was a pleasure to bring our members together in Porto — to reconnect with familiar faces and welcome new ones!

From our Practice Group sessions and AI workshop to the port tasting and our final evening by the ocean, there was plenty to discuss and enjoy together🍷🌊

40 years. Many people. Countless connections. One shared story. 💙

As Eurojuris France looks ahead to its 40th anniversary next year, a mosaic seemed like the perfect image to tell its story: individual pieces, each different, coming together to create something bigger.

And it fits beautifully with the thoughts of Eurojuris France President François Vaccaro, who has been part of that story almost from the very beginning.

In our anniversary interview, François talks about what lawyers really need for the future, why law is a tool rather than the profession itself, why we should embrace AI—but never allow it to replace human relationships 🤝—and the five foundations he believes successful lawyers and firms should build on.

And then there is one wonderfully simple thought that perhaps says more about 40 years of Eurojuris France than anything else:

“Les petits bonheurs font la vraie vie.” ✨

⚽ Who owns football – and who pays for it?

That was just one of the questions keeping our Eurojuris Sports Law Group busy today!

We talked about:
⚽ Who pays for high-risk football matches?
🏟️ Who can own a football club – and how do the rules differ across Europe?
🇪🇺 And is football, after all, a truly European phenomenon?

Different countries, different rules, different perspectives – which made for a great and lively discussion!

And it’s to be continued in Porto 🇵🇹: many of today’s participants will meet again for our Sports Law Breakfast at the Eurojuris International Congress. ☕⚽

🚗 Women lawyers driving solidarity

We are proud to support the wonderful initiative of our member Kaoutar Ben Moussa Cherraoui, who will take part in the 2026 Rallye Roses des Sables as part of the team

⚖️ Femmes et Droit is a French association of women lawyers committed to promoting equality and advancing the role of women in the legal profession.

🌍 Taking place from 9 to 18 October 2026 in the Moroccan desert, the Roses des Sables Rally is a unique all-women event that combines endurance and teamwork with a strong humanitarian mission, supporting causes such as breast cancer awareness, education and medical assistance.
