Our CALIBRE series continues - and this one celebrates a value that sits at the heart of everything we do at The Alternative Board New Zealand:
The Lifelong Learning Award goes to Karen Van Eden.

Karen is genuinely, consistently curious — and that curiosity benefits everyone around her. Whether it's coaching skills, new tools like Hi-Map, or exploring what AI can do for our business, Karen is always one of the first to lean in, ask questions, and figure out how something can be done better.

CALIBRE Award Spotlight | Community

We are thrilled to introduce our first CALIBRE Award recipient — and what a way to start.
The Community Award goes to someone who truly embodies what it means to give and receive within our TAB network: Warwick Taylor.

Warwick lives the spirit of community every single day - not just within TAB New Zealand, but across the Northland region he calls home. He was one of the first to embrace and master our Hi-Map tool, and rather than keep that knowledge to himself, he shared his processes, his learnings, and his best practices with the whole TAB NZ team so everyone could benefit.
He has also shown us what a strong, genuine relationship with the RBP network looks like — leading by example and demonstrating just how much value that connection brings to our members and our business.
But it doesn't stop there. Warwick deeply understands his community, and he shows up for them — especially in tough times. He is involved, he cares, and it shows.
