Help us be there for patients, families and whānau when they need hospice care most. 💛

Mary Potter Hospice Street Appeal is happening next Thursday 14 May and Saturday 16 May across Wellington, Porirua and Kāpiti.

You’ll see our incredible volunteers out in Mary Potter Hospice bibs with collection buckets (and yes, Eftpos New Zealand too!) helping raise vital funds to keep hospice care free for our community.

Every donation helps us continue providing compassionate palliative care to our community and their whānau and with support when they need it most. 💛

If you spot us next week, please stop for a chat, say hello, and if you can, make a donation. 💛

Together, you help us be there.

From 1 May 2026, the Commerce Commission introduced new interchange fee caps on foreign-issued Visa and Mastercard cards. Previously there were no limits on what could be charged when an overseas cardholder paid at a New Zealand business.

If your EFTPOS goes down, your business doesn't have to. If you have the right provider, that is.

We've worked hard to build resilience into our EFTPOS fleet. That's why the vast majority of calls into our 24/7 Technical Helpdesk get resolved on the first call. But for the small number of issues that need more than a phone conversation, we have a nationwide network of Field Service Representatives who can get to you when remote support isn't enough. If your terminal needs replacing, we can get one to you overnight or the same day, through our network of Rescue Locations across the country.

Day-to-day, our dedicated Customer Service team can help with billing and general enquiries. If you ever need a quick answer, you can get Technical Support via Live Chat or browse our Help Centre for guides and troubleshooting resources. We also keep your terminals running with software updates and security upgrades managed for you in the background.

For extra peace of mind, there's offline mode, which allows temporary offline processing if you do lose connectivity. You can also add an optional backup SIM so your terminal has a fallback if your Wi-Fi goes down. Our Swap Box service gives you a spare terminal on hand for instant swap-outs, and Terminal Plus helps cover the cost of repair and replacement if a device gets damaged.

If something goes wrong, you're not on your own.

When Julian Harrison joined Barkers Max Group, he found their 110 EFTPOS terminals were months away from PCI non-compliance. Their existing provider didn't include installation, which meant sourcing and paying third-party installers across 60+ stores.

Julian needed a modern solution that worked consistently across all stores, integrated with their existing POS, and came with a partner who could manage the rollout and back it up with reliable local support.

That's where Eftpos NZ came in.
