: VVC Team Joins PICPA Sustainability Immersion Garden Tour at UP Diliman

The VVC Team proudly participated in the “Sustainability Immersion” Garden Tour held on May 9, 2026, at the University of the Philippines Diliman’s Washington Sycip Garden of Native Trees.

Organized by the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants through its MMR Sustainability Committee, in partnership with Green Convergence for Safe Food, Healthy Environment and Sustainable Economy and UP Diliman, the event brought together participants from various PICPA chapters to promote environmental awareness and sustainability through an immersive learning experience.

The activity is a joint collaboration with PICPA MMR through its Ex Officio Chairman Sonia Segovia and the four MMR Chapters — SMMC, NMMC, WMMC, and EMMC — together with Green Convergence Group President Ms. Vicky Segovia, Ex-officio PICPA MMR and GAO and SGV Partner, Ms. Sonia Segovia and the current Chair of PICPA MMR Sustainability and VVC’s Founder and Managing Partner, Normita Villaruz.

The activity highlighted the importance of preserving native trees and strengthening ecological balance in urban communities, reinforcing the shared responsibility of professionals and organizations in advancing sustainable practices.

Aligned with VVC’s commitment to responsible and future-focused business practices, the experience served as a meaningful reminder that sustainability is an essential part of creating long-term value for communities and future generations.
