Kopke Group is a global wine company with origins in the Douro and a legacy of five centuries. Created in the 1990s, the group brings together Port and DOC Douro wine brands with unique histories and identities, such as Kopke, Barros, Burmester, Calém, Velhotes, Quinta da Boavista and São Luiz. With four estates in the Douro and 430 hectares of vineyards, the Kopke Group produces around 9.5 millio

n bottles a year and exports to more than 60 countries. Wine tourism is an important aspect of our group, providing knowledge and experiences about our brands and the oldest demarcated region in the world, with the highlight being the historic cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia and the opening of two hotels dedicated to the wine experience. Honrar a tradição também é uma forma de construir o que ainda está por vir.

On Saint John's Day, the Douro once again became the stage for one of Port Wine's oldest traditions. The Rabelo Boats Regatta once more brought together three houses that have known this river for centuries. Barros, Cálem and Kopke ⛵
