Hey, it’s Salman here. For over a year, I’ve worked with my own two hands to continue the frame-making craft I learnt from my late father.
The workshop has grown steadily, and I’ve had the privilege of framing countless pieces that carry years of memories. I’m beyond grateful to say that the work has now reached a point where I can no longer manage it alone.
More importantly, a traditional craft cannot continue if its knowledge remains with just one person. It has to be taught, practised and passed on.
So, I’m looking for someone to join me as a Full-time Frame Maker.
You don’t need frame-making experience yet. What matters more to me is your mindset: a willingness to learn, attention to detail, openness to feedback, and the patience not to rush the work. If you have experience in carpentry, labour or other hands-on work — and are patient, dependable and willing to learn — I’ll provide the training.
To me, this is more than filling a vacancy. I’m looking for someone who can learn the craft alongside me and, hopefully, help carry it into the future.
