Every agency says they're the best.
But can they prove it?

Before you choose a helper,
take a few minutes to compare agencies on the official MOM website.

At Living Well, we believe every family deserves honest information before making an important decision.
Because confidence comes from facts—not promises.

I don't have enough food

There may come a time when you feel you don't have enough food at home.
Before jumping to the conclusion that your employer is not giving you enough food, pause for a moment and ask yourself these three questions.

1. Do I really not have enough food?

Is there truly no food available, or is it because the food provided is not what you prefer to eat?
It's understandable if you have food allergies or dietary restrictions because of your religion. But if the food is suitable for you and you're simply being selective, it may be a misunderstanding rather than a lack of food.

2. How often does this happen?

Is it happening every day, or did it happen only once?
If you've been working with your employer for months and this is the first time, there could be a simple explanation. They may have forgotten to buy groceries or had an unusually busy day.
Look at the pattern, not just one incident.

3. Have you spoken to your employer?

Your employer may not know there is a problem unless you tell them.
A respectful conversation can often solve the issue quickly.
Something as simple as saying,
"Ma'am, I don't think there's enough food for me today. Could we discuss it?"
can prevent unnecessary misunderstandings.

Many problems at home can be solved through honest and respectful communication.
Don't assume. Ask.
Don't accuse. Clarify.
Don't suffer in silence. Speak respectfully.
Sometimes, one conversation is all it takes to solve a problem.

💚 The first 30 days can make all the difference.

When a helper joins a new home, she's not just learning household tasks—she's adjusting to a new environment, new routines, new expectations, and a new family.
That's why the first month is often the most important.

Progress may not happen overnight, but with patience, clear communication, and support, confidence grows and relationships strengthen.

A successful employer-helper partnership isn't built in a day—it grows through understanding, trust, and teamwork. 🤝

✨ Remember: Progress over perfection.
