We have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16), but our minds must continually be renewed by God's Word (Romans 12:2).

God's Word → Renewed Mind → Transformed Thinking → Transformed Responses → Transformed Life.

A governed mind does not allow fear, rejection, the past, people's opinions, or temporary emotions to control its decisions.

Instead, we learn to test our thoughts against God's Word and think on what is true, pure, honorable, lovely, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8).

The question is not only, “Do I have the mind of Christ?” but, “Is Christ governing my mind?”

When Christ governs your mind, His Word shapes your thinking, your thinking shapes your responses, and your responses shape your life.
