We have an important announcement:

Yes, it rained last night. 🌧️
Yes, your yard is wet.
Yes, the streets are wet.

And yes… we are STILL under a burn ban. 😎

We know some of you woke up, looked outside, and thought, “Today’s the day I light that burn pile!”

Step away from the matches, folks. 😂🔥

A little rain doesn’t mean conditions are safe enough to burn just yet.

Help your Alexander firefighters out — DON’T LIGHT ’ER UP!

We’ll all celebrate together when the burn ban is lifted.

TRAIN TODAY. READY WHEN IT MATTERS.

C-Shift continues working to strengthen their skills, training on safely removing an unresponsive victim through a window and down a ladder.

These are difficult, high-risk situations that require teamwork, skill, and preparation.

Our responsibility is simple: prepare before the emergency happens. When you or your family need us, we want our firefighters trained, confident, and ready to act.

We train for the moments we hope you never experience—because your safety is our responsibility.

City residents—load it up and bring it to us! Don’t miss this opportunity to clean up around your home and drop off unwanted tires, appliances, TVs, yard waste and more at the Human Development Center.

A big thank you to our police, firefighters, and administration staff for working together in the heat to make this happen for our community.

Clean it up. Load it up. Drop it off!

MULTI-AGENCY TECHNICAL RESCUE

This afternoon, Alexander Fire was requested to assist Shannon Hills Fire after a vehicle crashed into a home, leaving a 14-year-old girl heavily trapped and pinned by the vehicle.

Engine 37 and Chief 37 arrived and immediately began working with Shannon Hills crews to stabilize the vehicle and structure and develop a safe extrication plan. Due to the complexity of the rescue, additional specialized personnel and equipment were requested.

After an extended and challenging operation, crews from multiple agencies successfully freed the young girl and transferred her to Pafford EMS. Med Flight transported her to a local hospital for further care.

Today was a true example of teamwork. In extreme heat and difficult conditions, every agency worked toward one goal—safely bringing this young girl out.

Thank you to Shannon Hills Fire, Alexander Fire, Little Rock Fire Truck 18/Rescue 2, Saline County OEM/County USAR Team Members, Pulaski County OEM/USAR 1, Alexander Police, Shannon Hills Police, Saline County Sheriff’s Office, Pafford EMS and Med Flight.
