Raising the bar for theatre sound at Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach.
This season, our CEO Craig Beyrooti returned to Riverside Theatre as sound designer for their powerhouse production of Jesus Christ Superstar, which ran from February 26 to March 22 and played to enthusiastic audiences. The show continued our long-standing collaboration with the incredible Riverside team and was staged as a true rock concert experience, with all the energy (and SPL) that implies.
Behind the scenes, we deployed a TiMax audio spatialization system across four mainstage productions this season—Little Shop of Horrors, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Jesus Christ Superstar, and 9 to 5—giving the sound design a level of precision and immersion that traditional setups simply can’t match. TiMax allowed us to make concealed lavalier and multiple-mic setups feel natural and powerful, delivering impressive gain before feedback even at rock-concert levels. Huge thanks as well to Assistant Sound Designer and TiMax Specialist Anthony Narciso, whose expertise was key to unlocking the full potential of the TiMax system on this production.
The result at Riverside: crystal-clear vocals, focused imaging, and a truly enveloping sonic environment that supported the storytelling instead of fighting it. We’re grateful to the Riverside Theatre team for trusting us show after show, and we’re already looking forward to what we can create together next season.
