Here is today’s GRANT OF THE DAY.

And this is exactly why nonprofit leaders need to stop saying, “There aren’t any grants for what we do.”

There are.

The bigger question is whether you’re positioned to compete.

The Office on Violence Against Women has funding available through its Training and Services to End Abuse in Later Life Program.

Awards are expected to range from approximately $450,000 to $750,000.

Eligible applicants can include 501(c)(3) nonprofits, victim service providers, government entities, Tribal organizations, and other qualifying organizations.

If your work touches:

• Domestic violence
• Sexual assault
• Elder abuse
• Victim services
• Community intervention

This deserves your attention.

But DO NOT throw together an application because you saw a big dollar amount.

Read the NOFO.

Check eligibility.

Confirm the required multidisciplinary partnerships, including law enforcement, a prosecutor’s office, a victim service provider, and an organization experienced in serving adults 50 and older.

Review the scoring criteria, outcomes, infrastructure, and compliance requirements.

Some people do it for the money grab.

People like me and Alicia Lyttle do it to empower people to dream bigger, think differently, and see opportunities they didn’t even know were available to them.

Today wasn’t just about AI.

It was about showing people how to use AI to expand their vision, identify new opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and position themselves for what’s next.

When people have access to the right information, tools, and strategy, everything changes.

We were not just teaching AI or Government Contracts, we were teaching about ACCESS!

And that’s why I️ keep showing up! Thank you DC!

I started the day NOT being on the agenda to speak at the Focu$ed Conference because of a technical error.

BUT GOD.

God touched the heart of the organizer, and somehow the day shifted. Not only was I given the opportunity to speak, but I was also asked to mentor several business owners throughout the day.

And what happened next was confirmation.

Because of ONE ROOM…
I’m already guaranteed another speaking opportunity at an upcoming conference, and business deals are being developed THIS WEEK from relationships I made today.

Today was simply AMAZING.

I cannot emphasize this enough:

BE IN THE RIGHT ROOM.
BUILD THE RIGHT RELATIONSHIPS.
SHOW UP READY—even when you don’t think you’re on the agenda.

Because when God has ordained something for you, a technical error can’t stop it.
A missed opportunity can’t cancel it.
Someone overlooking your name can’t block it.

What God has for you is FOR YOU.

Sometimes you think you’re just walking into a room…

Meanwhile, God already knows who needs to hear you, who needs to meet you, who needs to partner with you, and which doors are about to open because you showed up.

Today reminded me:

Nobody can take away what God has ordained for your life.

Stay ready. Stay obedient. Get in the room.

The opportunity may already be waiting on you.
