Want to shake up your culture??
Start early. Train your FTOs as Leaders. Here are some recommendations from Sworn Impact Training:

1️⃣ Your Field Training Program shapes officers early - we recommend training your FTOs together.

2️⃣ Consistency matters - FTOs each have their own personality and coaching style, but coming together as a cohesive group builds a more consistent outcome for rookies.

3️⃣ Discus the DOR and Scoring Matrix - this simple discussion will generate a great deal of buy-in from the FTOs within your program. It gets everyone on the same page.

👏 Our applause to Brighton Police Department. Their team wanted to do something different.

So together, we brainstormed topics that are relevant in . And built curriculum tailored to their needs.

We are meeting the Colorado POST requirements for their sworn staff, and also including their professional team members. Because that collaboration is key in an effective workforce!

Chief Weaver in Jacksonville, NC stressed the importance of consistency in training.

She says they already prioritize leadership training, but sending individual members to regional and national training events means they’re getting one-off education.

She chose Sworn Impact because we came to JPD.

Everyone heard the same message.

Everyone now has a common language.
