It’s to restore the humanity of artists in a system that too often treats them as content machines, backg

round noise, or free labor. We believe artists are the cultural backbone of society; shaping emotion, memory, connection, identity, and joy. Yet the industry has normalized a world where most artists live below the poverty line, expected to give endlessly while receiving almost nothing in return. We’re here to change that.

✊ We Believe Artists Deserve to Thrive, Not Just Survive

It should not be radical to say:
Artists deserve to make more than minimum wage. Artists should be able to create full-time without burning out, selling out, or giving up. Artists’ contributions to culture, mental health, local economies, and joy should be seen, valued, and sustained. Every lyric written. Every show played. Every beat, movement, or story…

When we started Prosper XO, one of the first things we did was listen.

Last year, we launched artist surveys because we believe building a better future for artists starts with understanding their real experiences, challenges, and needs. Prosper XO is being built with artists, by artists, and for artists; and that means artist voices must be at the center of everything we do.

That’s why we created the “Artist Voices Wall”: a space dedicated to sharing the honest realities artists face every day.
