The Bandera Recycles outreach team was invited by the The Hill Country Reduce, Reuse and Recycle Project (HCRRRP)to lead a recycling discussion and Q&A for the noontime lunch crowd at Silver Sage Hill Country Resource Center. Recycling presenters Karen, Tina and Janus introduced the county's free recycling program to the lunch group, explained what items are accepted and encouraged everyone to bring their recyclables to Silver Sage Hill Country Resource Center where a drop off for recyclables has been established. Many in the lunch group are already recycling and many others expressed interest in becoming recyclers. Thank you, HCRRRP and Silver Sage Hill Country Resource Center for hosting this event!
