Another project moving right along!

We’ve been busy digging and installing the septic extension, running electric and gas lines to the garage addition, and tying in the downspout drainage to keep everything flowing where it needs to!

Moving to the front of the property to demo the existing concrete slabs, install drainage and sump pump lines, and prep the area for a brand-new driveway.

Another project completed for LJC Construction.

We came in after construction to get the property cleaned up, graded, and ready to enjoy. This project included:

• Hauled off 60 tons of dirt and 10 tons of stone
• Installed 250 feet of downspout drainage to properly move water away from the home
• Dug a new trench to reroute septic electric around the house addition
• Final graded and reshaped the property after construction was complete
• Reshaped the front ditch to improve drainage and finish the property off properly
• Installed a brand-new yard to complete the transformation

From underground utilities and drainage to final grading and a fresh yard, we handled the dirt work from start to finish and left this property with a clean, finished look.

We brought in 60 tons of fill to properly build up and grade the area surrounding this new barn, creating a clean, functional finish and improving drainage around the structure.

To finish it off, we installed creek rock with a cobblestone border to add some natural landscape appeal and give the barn a clean, finished look.

From grading and site prep to the finishing touches, we take pride in doing the job right from the ground up.

Today’s project was a little more meaningful than your typical tree removal. 🌲

We took down two mature pine trees that the customer’s father had planted years ago as Christmas trees. While the trees had reached the end of their life in this space, we wanted to preserve a piece of that history. We left two 6-foot sections of the trunks so the family can turn them into memorial pieces in his honor. ❤️

We also removed and hauled off an apple tree from the backyard, clearing the area and getting the property ready for the next phase of the project — drainage.

It’s always rewarding when we can do more than just complete a job. Sometimes, it’s about helping a family preserve a little piece of something that means a lot to them.

One job had us out cleaning up storm damage, fallen trees, and debris — getting the property cleaned up and back in shape.

On another job, we completely ripped out the old landscaping for a customer who just purchased a home they’re remodeling. 🏡

Sometimes the best way to start fresh is to take everything out and start from scratch. Now they’ve got a clean slate to design and install a whole new landscape that fits their vision for the property.

Out with the old. Clean slate. New vision. 🌱

We cleared out trees, honeysuckle, and other overgrowth to expose the old fence so it could be torn out and replaced with a brand-new one. We also dug out the creek and installed a culvert pipe to create a solid crossing for equipment.

Finished the day at another jobsite cleaning up a fallen branch.

From clearing to cleanup, we’re getting the property ready for what’s next! 🚜🌿

We recently completed a pond overflow system designed to keep the water level consistent and eliminate the need for the property owner at spring valley hard fill to pump excess water out to the creek every few weeks. 💧

We installed 12” double-wall pipe with an animal guard at the inlet, along with 4 feet of rip rap in front of the inlet to help protect the system from leaves, sticks, and other debris while keeping the overflow flowing properly.

The goal was to build a reliable, low-maintenance solution that does the work naturally and gives the customer peace of mind when water levels rise. Another drainage project where proper planning, the right materials, and good installation make all the difference.

I’m lucky to have my buddy gannon by my side! He put in the work and helped us get this project knocked out the right way.

Another big transformation in the books!

We started this project by cutting out and preparing the base for a 1,600-square-foot driveway extension, giving these homeowners plenty of additional parking space for when family and friends come into town, as well as room for trailers and other equipment. No more worrying about running out of parking or parking in the yard!

We also widened the driveway skirt where it meets the road, making it much easier for larger trucks and trailers to pull in and out without dropping off the edge of the driveway. Sometimes it's the little details like this that make a huge difference in how functional a property is day to day.

We cut down and regraded the landscape bed areas, installed creek rock, and created a dedicated trash can pad along with a Greenscapes bed that will be ready for future planting and landscaping. We also took the front hillside and blended it into a smooth, mowable 3:1 slope, making the property easier to maintain while giving everything a much cleaner and more finished appearance.

To finish up the drainage improvements, we re-dug the front ditch to restore proper water flow and allow runoff to drain efficiently toward the creek.

This project was all about improving functionality, drainage, accessibility, and curb appeal while setting the property up for future improvements. From extra parking and easier trailer access to proper grading and drainage, every part of this project was designed to make the property work better for the homeowners now and for years to come.

A lot of dirt moved, grades changed, and details dialed in—but the finished product is going to make a huge difference! Stay tuned for the next phase. 💪🏼🚜🌿
