30 harvests calls for a very special dinner and barrel tasting with the Hightowers!

Chef JJ Compeau has created an evening of fall flavors paired with our club releases:

Reception — 2025 Murray Semillon + Local corn panna cotta with Dungeness Crab
Into the Cellar — Barrel tasting with Tim & Kelly
First Course — 2023 Merlot + Harvest squash raviolo
Main Course — 2024 Clone 8 Cabernet Sauvignon + Sous vide short rib, herbed orzo & glazed carrots
Fini — 2023 Estate Blend + blue cheese, pears, blackberries & Thomas Keller dark chocolate

September 19 | 6–9 PM | Hightower Cellars, Red Mountain | Only 11 seats remain

Upcoming Event! On September 19th, we’re hosting our annual Harvest Dinner as we celebrate our 30th harvest!

Join us for an exclusive evening featuring a VIP barrel tasting with Tim & Kelly Hightower, followed by dinner under the stars on the w**ery patio.

This year’s dinner is extra special as we welcome our longtime friend, business partner at The W**e Collaboration, owner and w**emaker of narratif W**ery and chef for the evening, Chef JJ Compeau. JJ and Tim & Kelly have shared a friendship spanning more than 25 years, dating back to the early days of Hightower Cellars. We couldn’t think of a better person to help us celebrate this milestone harvest!

A little throwback to where it all began!

Check out this photo from our very first harvest in 1997! Nearly three decades later, harvest is upon us once again. The work has only just begun, but we could not be more proud of this incredible vineyard we get to call ours.

Come out to the estate this Labor Day Weekend and raise a glass with us as we celebrate another harvest season!

We are open our normal hours Thursday–Monday, 11am–5pm. We would love to see you!

We have been busy sampling and testing grapes throughout the vineyard, watching ripeness and flavor develop as we determine when to pick. Today we brought in Syrah and Grenache from the Mother Block (Tim’s Mom’s Vineyard). These grapes are destined to become part of our 2026 Rosé!

We are so excited to kick off our 30th harvest season and can’t wait to take you along for the ride. Stay tuned for more vineyard, harvest, and cellar updates as things get busy!

As summer winds down, so do two of our favorites!

Tomorrow, August 31st is the last to try our library 2012 Red Mountain Reserve as part of Pass the Cork Benton City W**es. It is also the last day to shop our “Waugust” Washington W**e Month Specials — available in the tasting room + online! Waugust specials include the crowd favorites, 2025 Sauvignon Blanc and 2022 Out of Line Estate Red W**e.

We’re open 11am–5pm, Thursday through Monday.

We are incredibly honored to announce that we won the Gold Medal for Best W**ery of Tri-Cities!

This award means so much to us, but not just because of the title. It means so much because you made it happen.

To our amazing members, our loyal customers, our friends, our family, and everyone who took the time to vote for us (some of you even everyday!) — thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
