a mentor laughed at what i was making. then he told me why.

he called me out of nowhere and asked what i was making in credit repair. i told him $1,500 a month. he said you should be making ten times that.

then he told me the difference. he would never sell somebody the plane ride. he would sell them the vacation. and to get to the vacation, they have to take the plane.

thats when i saw credit repair was just the vehicle. repair gets you back to zero. the file you build after that is the point.

thats why we teach funding. repair comes with it.

1. relationships. the business accounts you keep and how many banks actually know you.
2. trade lines. every account on your report, old or new, high limit or low. its your report card.
3. inquiries. every application is a pull, and banks track them for two years.
4. sequence. which banks, which products, personal or business first.
5. timing. you dont plant in winter. apply once the relationships are built, the trade lines have aged and the inquiries have fallen off.

most people start at step four. they pick a bank and apply, and the file was never ready for it.
