We waited 8 years to release this wine.

One barrel.
One vineyard.
One grape.

In 2018, we quietly set aside a single barrel of Tannat from Newsom Vineyard.

Meticulously farmed, fermented with native yeast, and made with nothing added and nothing taken away.

We refused to rush it.

41 months in barrel.
Nearly 4 years in bottle.
Far beyond anything traditionally done in Texas.

The 2018 SILAS RESERVE TANNAT.

This is not a wine we can ever make again.
This is what Texas patience tastes like.
