Don't assume that because life is hard, you're headed in the wrong direction.
Some seasons stretch us.
They teach us patience.
They expose what we really trust.
They force us to pray differently.
They strengthen parts of our faith that comfort never could.
Nobody enjoys the difficult seasons.
But with God, they don't have to be wasted.

Maybe the question isn't only:
"God, when will this end?"
Maybe we should also ask:
"God, who are You teaching me to become through this?"
