Every Tuesday at 7 AM, I get to sit with the most powerful networking group around — my BNI family. Today’s 10‑minute spotlight was Alex from My Tree Guy, and wow… these brothers are the real deal.

Alex walked us through the safety gear they use — heavy‑duty helmets with communication systems, protective pants that won’t get caught in chippers or saws — and shared how their passion goes far beyond tree removal. They’ll save a tree whenever possible, and yes… they’ve even relocated a family of squirrels to keep them safe.

What were you doing Tuesday at 7 AM?
I was at the Business Bobcats learning about Tree Safety, Gardening and Relationships!

Attorney Rachael Levine presented on how former members relationships are important. Stay connected and ask how they are doing. Continue 1-2-1s and introduce them to your entire network.

Brothers Alex and Adrian of My Tree Guy gave us incite into how they keep their employees safe while completing tree work. Did you know that they are aboristists?

Kris of YardScapes Landscape Professionals gave us her background and how she became a master gardner!

An exciting morning at the Bobcats!

We inducted our two new members, Benjamin Tomas of Claims Specialist Inc. and Christopher Garitee of Cabanillas & Associates, P.C. Welcome to our group!

Then our education was brought to us by Allan Varno. Allan spoke about his experience this summer at Candlewood Fishing Camp. We are proud supports of the organization that helps kids go to camp and learn how to fish!

Our next presenter was Doug Williams of New Fairfield Press gave us a history of the company and an overview of all their services. New Fairfield Press is his second family!

Last but not least Philipakos did mortgage trivia. Do you know what Mortgage means or what happened in 1986? If you want to know ask James!

Another great morning at the Bobcats meeting.
Education was presented by Mark Viola on how value and trust are important in your business along with engaging your customers and knowing them. He recommended the book, The Wisdom of the Bullfrog.

Willie Williams of RJW Home Improvement Services showed us his mobile workshop. Almost every tool he needs to complete his projects can be found in his van.

Herminio Rodriguez III explained about having the right tools for the projects you are doing. Be the best craftsman you can be.

Inspiration came in all ways this morning! Thank you Lucy Andrade, Hodge Insurance Agency for reminding us about using our BNI Profiles. A great handout that maps the profiles.

Dan Sahl gave us information about what a Town Clerk's office does and why we need them in a real estate transaction.

The best inspiration came from Norman Urquhart who talked about the books The Four Agreements and Meditations.

Darren Trim of DPT Plumbing, Heating, Pumps & Water Treatments talked about the importance of networking to help spread the word about your business. Networking is an essential part of doing business.

Daniel M. Sahl spoke about his experiences and history of why real estate law.

Mike Tarzia of Golf Ranch Brookfield about his WHY. It's important to him to make sure people are supported through their fitness experiences. He is proud of his growing family, both personally and at Golf Ranch.
