Happy Medical Assistant week! 🩺

Medical assisting is one of my favorite jobs. Being in the medical field for almost two decades has given me the satisfaction to serve and help the patients and providers (doctors or midwives) here in Brooklyn and Manhattan.

I have seen all the ups and downs especially during covid season where that time we felt so scared of what might happen to us or our family but we remain strong and our faith in God got stronger than ever before.

Keep up the good work my fellow medical assistants. Without our help, medical offices won't run effeciently and smoothly to take care of patients. ❤️🥼📋🩺🩼💉🩹💊📠📞🖨🖱

Today's Gospel – Sunday, October 18, 2026
📖 Matthew 22:15–21

“Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and to God what belongs to God.”

As Christians, we are called to be responsible citizens by fulfilling our duties, respecting the laws of society, and doing our part to promote the common good.
While we honor our responsibilities in this world, we must never forget that we are created in the image of God. Our deepest love, faith, and ultimate loyalty must always belong to Him.
Take a moment to reflect on your life. Are you giving God the love, time, and honor He deserves? Or have worldly worries, ambitions, and distractions taken the place that should be reserved for Him?

🙏 Reflection: Let us fulfill our earthly responsibilities faithfully while keeping our hearts firmly rooted in God, remembering that everything we have ultimately comes from Him.
