Just because something looks easy doesn’t mean it feels easy to you.

I hear it from clients all the time: “I should be able to do this myself.” But we all have those things we just can’t seem to master.

For me? It’s hair and makeup. Give me a bathroom full of products and I’ll organize it to a T. Ask me to do my own hair and makeup? Different story. 😂

And a BIG shoutout to , who is an absolute lifesaver whenever I have a shoot, photos, or need to look a little more put together. She is SO good at what she does!

As a Professional Organizer, I’m often asked how to respectfully retire an American flag. 🇺🇸

Many of my clients, especially those with military backgrounds, want to ensure their flags are handled with honor. Because I have military relatives myself, I make it part of my mission to handle this for them.

Here’s how I make sure the job is done right:

🇺🇸 Personal Drop-Off: I bring collected flags to my local American Legion Post in Wayne, which has a designated flag drop-off box just minutes from my house.
Other options include your local Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) post or a local Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts troop. I also recommend checking with your local township to see if they have a dedicated flag drop-off box.

🇺🇸 Official Ceremony: The flags are then respectfully retired through a proper retirement ceremony.

📦 Full-Service Organizing: My job doesn’t stop when I leave your home. It ends when I make sure the items leaving your space get to the appropriate places.

I’m excited to be volunteering with Teachers’ Teammates on September 24, and I’d love for you to join me! 💛

We’ll be spending the morning at their Folcroft warehouse sorting donations, organizing inventory and helping get supplies ready for classrooms across Delaware County.

Closets are my favorite space of all time. This coat closet in Berwyn just wasn’t working for my client and needed an upgrade.

First: Declutter and organize what’s inside.

Second: Discuss what structural changes we can make to work for this family of five.

Third: Have our trusted closet designer Stacy Rosen from California Closets, help plan and install a closet system that works for my client.

Fourth: Since the client didn’t want just plain walls, she had the closet wallpapered in her favorite color.

Fifth: Install the system and enjoy this now functioning closet.

Moving is stressful for so many reasons. Packing, unpacking and figuring out where everything will live in the new space. Garages tend to be the last space people tackle because they hold the stuff that doesn’t get touched until it’s needed.

But now it’s time to park the cars in the garage and you aren’t ready. One call to Carrie will get it all set so you can park two cars in the space.

Declutter trash, recycle and unwanted items. My client already had pick up scheduled for later in the day.
