Originally from Ireland, Kathy made the move to the U.S. for her husband, and ultimately chose Buffalo as the place they wanted to call home and build their lives.

"Stout can work downtown and be with Garrett in the evenings thanks to a short commute home to Cheektowaga. The couple can drive down to Knox Farm State Park or Como Lake Park with their dog and pick up a pizza on the way. Meanwhile, in larger cities like Dublin or D.C., she'd still be commuting home in the time it takes to accomplish all of that."
