Does your toilet rock or shift when you sit down? It’s worth having it checked. 🚽

A wobbly toilet may be caused by loose mounting hardware, an uneven surface, a damaged fl**ge, or a failing seal beneath the toilet. Continued movement can place additional stress on the connection and may eventually allow water or sewer odors to escape.

Let your plumber know if you’ve noticed:

🔧 Movement or rocking
💧 Moisture around the base
👃 A recurring sewer-like odor
📍 Soft or discolored flooring nearby

Avoid overtightening the bolts, since that can crack the toilet. A professional assessment can identify what is moving and determine the appropriate repair.

Don’t let clogs haunt your home this Halloween weekend. 🎃

A drain that keeps running slowly, gurgles, or leaves water standing in the tub may be telling you something is building up in the line.

A few simple habits help: use a drain strainer to catch hair, keep grease and food scraps out of the kitchen sink, and put wipes in the trash. If the same drain keeps giving you trouble, let a plumber find the cause before you’re dealing with a backup.

What’s lurking under your sink? 👀🔦

For a quick Halloween home check, open the cabinet and look for drips around the supply lines, shutoff valves, and drain connections. Check the cabinet floor for dampness or water stains, too.

A small leak can be easy to miss when the cabinet door stays closed. If you find active dripping or recurring moisture, have the source inspected.

Carving pumpkins this week? Keep the pulp and seeds out of the kitchen sink and garbage disposal. 🎃

Those stringy scraps can collect in the drain and contribute to clogs. Before you start, set a bowl or lined tray beside the pumpkin. Scoop the scraps into it, then put them in the trash or compost where accepted. Wipe up stray bits before rinsing your tools.
