Our efforts were originally formed to provide electronic health records during the treatment of infants born with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (babies exposed to substances while in the womb). Much of the core of our application applies to general infant treatment.
A couple of years ago, a major hurricane hit North Carolina that devastated a wide area with multiple infant treatment centers. our products were provided to infant treatment centers that had a wide range of ailments. These treatment centers had no internet access, telephone service, and only backup electricity for up to three months. Our system requires only electricity and one or more computers. Through the assistance of Samaritan's Purse, Starlink, and amazing local volunteers; we were able to provide electronic health record systems to NINE centers within a few days.
Some of these centers returned to their web-based systems when they became available. We provided custom applications to upload the infant records to make their records complete.
All of this was provided at no charge.
Three centers opted to remain with our applications. Subsequently, centers were acquired by an investment group that desired web access to the treatment data. We extrapolated our applications to operate locally and provide internet access as well. This requires the integration with a third party tool that charges a very small charge per user.
We continue to provide our products at no charge for most users except set-up and training. (Often not needed with the included documentation).
We are excited with this new phase in our evolution.
