Let’s talk about ni**le pain. 🩺

In those early days, a little tenderness as your body adjusts can happen. But severe, toe-curling pain, lipstick-shaped ni**les after feedings, or cracked tissue? That’s not just "part of the process"—it’s a sign that the latch needs a tweak!

When a baby gets a deep latch, feeding becomes comfortable for you and efficient for them.
Swipe through to see the difference between a shallow and deep latch, and try these 3 quick adjustments during your next feed:

👃 Nose-to-Nipple: Align baby's nose with your ni**le so they tilt their head back to reach it.
😮 Wait for the Big Yawn: Bring baby to the breast only when their mouth is open wide.
🎯 Aim High, Land Low: Aim your ni**le toward the roof of their mouth so their lower jaw takes in a generous portion of the lower ar**la.

📌 Save this post for your next feeding session, and tag a parent who needs to see this today!

If pain persists despite adjustments, working with an IBCLC can help identify root causes like tongue ties or subtle body tension. You don't have to push through the pain alone! 🍼✨

Motherhood can bring love, joy, exhaustion, worry, and many other emotions at the same time.

You do not have to pretend that everything is okay. Feeling tired, uncertain, frustrated, or overwhelmed does not make you ungrateful or inadequate.

Your feelings are valid, and you deserve support too.

𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧 𝟮
Ever looked at your pump output and wondered if your baby is getting enough milk? 💛

You're not alone.

Many parents worry when:
📉 They pump less than expected
💛 Their breasts feel softer than before
🌙 Their baby still wakes at night to feed

But these are often normal parts of breastfeeding—not signs that something is wrong.

Your body is constantly adapting to your baby's needs. Milk production works on supply and demand, and babies are usually much more effective at removing milk than a pump.

Remember:
✔ Pump output does not equal milk supply
✔ Soft breasts do not mean you're out of milk
✔ Night feeds are biologically normal and support milk production

The more we understand what's normal, the less pressure we put on ourselves.

Most new parents are never shown what normal breastfeeding actually looks like.

So when feeding feels frequent, unpredictable, or “too much,” it’s easy to assume something is wrong.

But in reality—this is what normal newborn feeding looks like.

🧠 Frequent feeding is normal
🌙 Cluster feeding is normal
⏱️ Unpredictable timing is normal
💛 Your baby is not broken—and neither is your milk supply

Breastfeeding is not a strict schedule. It is a responsive system built around your baby’s needs.

This is just Part 1—there’s still more to understand about milk supply, pumping, and common myths in Part 2.
