Kent County ranks #1 for eligible residents not applying - 1 in 5 are missing out!
By simply filing your tax return this year, you could qualify for up to $4,000 through the Maryland Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC). Many Marylanders, even part-time, seasonal workers who file with an individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) qualify without realizing it. Check your eligibility at MaylandComptroller.gov/EarnedIt .

And then see if you're eligible for the MD Renters Tax Credit, up to $1,000 back to renters who are over 60, or totally disabled, or under age 60 with dependent(s).
