Announcement!

As EFC continues to grow and evolve, I’m excited to share an important development in our leadership.

Dave Chamberlain has joined EFC as our Executive Chairman.

As Executive Chairman, Dave will work closely with me and John as EFC enters its next stage of growth and continues finding new ways to help martial arts school owners build stronger businesses.

Dave began his career in technology, with notable experience at IBM and Gateway, before joining Kovar’s as CEO. There, he helped grow the organization by opening additional martial arts schools while also consulting with school owners across the country.

Dave has also been a longtime advisor, mentor, and friend to EFC. In many ways, this next step feels like a natural evolution of that relationship.

Together, this next chapter strengthens EFC’s leadership while continuing the commitment that has guided our company for decades:

Raising the standard of the martial arts industry.

You’ll find us at UechiCon 2026 in Manchester, NH, all three ProMAC regional conferences in New Jersey, California, and Texas, and Super Saturday with Master Pedro Sauer in Warren, OH.

UechiCon brings together business training for school owners and instructors with a full weekend of martial arts training. Then we’ll join Kovar Systems at ProMAC East, West, and Central before wrapping up the fall event schedule at Team Bundy Jiu-Jitsu for Super Saturday with Master Pedro Sauer.
