๐ฆ ๐ WATCH FOR DEER & WILDLIFE!
As the weather gets cooler, you may see more deer and other wildlife near the road. Knowing what to look for can help you stay safe behind the wheel!
๐ Scan the Sides of the Road
Donโt just focus on the car in front of you. Keep an eye on wooded areas, fields, and ditches where animals may be nearby.
๐
Be Extra Alert at Dawn & Dusk
Deer are especially active around sunrise and sunset, when visibility can also be more limited.
๐ฆ Where There is One, There May Be More
If a deer crosses the road, keep watching. Deer often travel in groups. The same applies for smaller animals like squirrels or rabbits!
๐จ Don't Swerve!
If an animal suddenly enters your path, brake firmly while maintaining control of your vehicle. Swerving can cause you to lose control or collide with another vehicle.
Remember: Wildlife can be unpredictable. Stay alert, slow down, and give yourself time to react.
