I'm really sorry to hear about this. We need to keep these jobs in the USA. I always thought Amana made quality products similar to Maytag. Now Whirlpool owns them both.

Whirlpool Amana plant workers were told last week that production will be shut down May 18–22, with an additional shutdown May 25 for the Memorial Day holiday,
