🎉 One BIG Month. One Unforgettable Finale! 🎉

Hundreds of local business and community leaders came together at the 2026 BAM BBQ for an unforgettable evening as we closed out Business Appreciation Month in true Citrus County style!🔥🤠

Guests were welcomed with Dixie Hollins’ famous fried green tomatoes and Larry Rooks’ crispy fried okra before digging into Leon’s Famous BBQ and cooling off with the perfect sweet treat from Ice Cream Club. The Embry Brothers Band kept the crowd moving throughout the evening as everyone enjoyed the music, dancing, laughter, and great connections that make the BIG B.A.M. BBQ so special.

A very special thank you goes to Nick Nicholas Ford, our 2026 Business Appreciation Month Presenting Sponsor and to all of our B.A.M. sponsors! Your continued support and generosity helped us celebrate and recognize and honor the businesses, employees, entrepreneurs, and community partners who create jobs, support local causes, and invest in Citrus County throughout the year.

What an incredible afternoon celebrating Citrus County’s business community! 🍊

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the October Annual Salute to Business Luncheon, one of the signature events of Business Appreciation Month.

We were honored to welcome former Florida State Senator Jeff Brandes, Founder & President of the Florida Policy Project, as our keynote speaker. Senator Brandes led an engaging and timely conversation about property insurance, housing and affordability, workforce challenges, second chance hiring, and the broader policy decisions shaping the future of Florida’s businesses and communities.
