One of the biggest misconceptions about starting an online business is:

“I have to quit my job first.”

No.

At least, that wasn't my approach.

I chose to keep working while I learned something new on the side.

Why?

Because my job is part of my present.

But my dreams are part of my future.

I didn't want to make a rushed decision.

I wanted to learn.

I wanted to build new skills.

I wanted to understand the business.

And I wanted to give myself time to figure out what direction made sense for me.

That's why I believe starting small can be powerful.

You can learn during the pockets of time you have.

Before work.

After work.

On a day off.

During a quiet moment.

It doesn't have to look like someone else's journey.

And it certainly doesn't mean you have to walk away from everything you currently have.

For me, this is about "building while living."

Working.

Raising my family.

Learning.

Growing.

And creating possibilities for the future.
