๐ŸŒŸ Partner Spotlight: Hilliard Food Pantry ๐ŸŒŸ

We're proud to partner with Hilliard Food Pantry Plus, a trusted community resource that has been serving families in the Hilliard area since 1963.

Today, their impact extends far beyond food assistance. Through nutritious food programs, utility assistance, educational opportunities, and other supportive services, they help more than 4,600 families each year access the resources they need to thrive.

We're honored to work alongside an organization that not only addresses immediate needs but also helps families to build stronger futures.

It's been an impactful start to the summer for our partners at Harmony Project!

At Concert for Humanity, 7,000 people gathered at Columbus Commons to experience the power of music from 1976 through Harmony's 500+ member community chorus. It was a beautiful and powerful evening of connection, reflection, and celebration of our shared humanity.

Just a few weeks later, more than 3,000 people attended the Sunflower Arts & Music Festival, where participants in Harmony's Prison Arts Program joined community members at the Ohio Reformatory for Women for a day of music, storytelling, visual arts, and meaningful conversation.

What stood out most at both events was the power of proximity. When we take the time to connect with people whose stories are different from our own, we are better for it. Harmony Project creates those opportunities every day.

Thank you, Harmony Project, for building bridges through art, service, and shared experiences. Our community is stronger because of your work. ๐Ÿ’œ

What makes someone go from "I helped out once" to "this is where I want to give my time"?

It's rarely the volunteer activity itself. It's how they were welcomed, valued, and shown that their time made a real difference.

Our newest Cramer Collection resource offers practical strategies for creating volunteer experiences that inspire people to stay engaged, build lasting relationships, and become passionate champions for your mission.

On World Hunger Day, weโ€™re reflecting on what it means to care for our neighbors right here at home. ๐Ÿ’š

Weโ€™re grateful to live in a community filled with organizations that work every day to provide nourishment and stability for families in need. In honor of World Hunger Day, we invited our partners at Hilliard Food Pantry Plus and Healthy New Albany to share what this day means to them, and we are so thankful for the impact they make in our community.

World Hunger Day is a reminder that meaningful change begins locally and that each of us has the ability to make a difference. Whether itโ€™s donating, volunteering, or simply spreading awareness, every action matters.

Today, we encourage you to support your local food pantry and help ensure every family in our community has access to the food and support they need to thrive.

On Thursday, CAPA broke ground on Wrightsel Music Hall, and we couldn't be prouder to have walked alongside the CAPA - Columbus Association for the Performing Arts team on this transformational $14 million campaign. The historic Central Presbyterian Church, a downtown landmark since 1859, will be reimagined as a community-centered performance venue with room for 600 guests and programming designed to welcome every family in central Ohio.

This campaign was made possible by a foundational gift from the Wrightsel Family Foundation and the extraordinary generosity of more than 250 donors who said "yes" to the power of the arts in our community. This new venue is slated to open in late 2027, and we cannot wait to be there for the first performance!

To Elfi DiBella, Barbara Markus, Chad Whittington, the Wrightsel Family Foundation, the CAPA Board, and the many supporters who made this vision possible, take a bow. Youโ€™ve earned every note of applause headed your way for making this visionary project possible!
