Thank you, TCIL, for hosting the Disability & Senior Expo and giving us the opportunity to introduce our new mobile EasyCall™ to our community! 💙

We enjoyed connecting with attendees, sharing how mobile EasyCall™ can provide peace of mind at home and on the go, and learning about the many incredible organizations supporting older adults and people with disabilities in Humboldt County.

We’re grateful to have been part of a day filled with meaningful conversations, helpful resources, and a shared commitment to helping our neighbors live safely and independently.

💗 On Fridays, we wear pink! 💗

Every Friday in October, our Advanced Security Systems team wears our special pink ribbon t-shirts in support of those affected by breast cancer. Through our annual Breast Cancer Awareness campaign, we're also contributing to local organizations that support patients, survivors, and cancer prevention.

This week, our teams came together with community partners to present donations:

🎀 Clearlake Oaks: On Monday, our team met with Adventist Health to support Team HOPE for the Surviving Sponsorship run and fundraising for new breast cancer treatment equipment.

🎀 Santa Rosa: On Tuesday, our team met with the Santa Rosa Fire Foundation to help fund protective gear that reduces firefighters’ exposure to cancer-causing chemicals.

🎀 Crescent City: Our team met with the Crescent City Soroptimists to support their Bras for a Cause fundraiser, benefiting the Breast & GYN Health Project.

🎀 Eureka: Today, our team met with the Eureka Police Department to contribute to their fundraiser, also benefiting the Breast & GYN Health Project.

Behind every pink shirt is a message of care, hope, and support. We’re grateful to these organizations for the work they do and proud to stand alongside them in the communities we call home. 💗

⚠️ Pay attention when your battery gives you a warning.

Stop using your device right away if its battery feels warm to the touch, smells unusual, makes popping sounds, changes shape or color, or produces smoke. These can be signs of a damaged battery that could overheat and start a fire.

If it is safe to do so, move the device away from anything that can catch fire.

Sharing these warning signs with your family can help everyone recognize a problem sooner.
