If you have some spare time to help volunteer with a cleanup project, see below! We love seeing our community out in action together!

⚠️ ⚠️ Volunteers needed!! ⚠️ ⚠️

Friday, June 5th, we'll be in North Pole at 2271 Badger Rd at 9AM, and we need individuals and groups willing to lend a hand to a local resident as he works to restore his property after experiencing challenges with renters. Join us in supporting a neighbor and army veteran, to help beautify our town.

There's a form online for you to fill out ahead of time, or you can just show up--we'll have copies on-site as well. Here's what else you need:

♻️ we'll have copies on site.
♻️ long pants and sleeves
♻️ closed to shoes
♻️ gloves are provided, but bring your own if you like!

Today we’re celebrating the incredible mothers in our community and the amazing moms on our Golden Heart team. You keep households running, kids smiling, and somehow still show up every day to help take care of our Golden Heart family too.

From early routes to late nights, from school drop-offs to landfill ops — your strength, patience, and heart keep this town and our crew going strong.

To every mom out there, and especially to the women of Golden Heart: **Thank you.** We see you, we appreciate you, and we’re proud to work alongside you. Keeping truck drivers in line is no easy task. 😁

Today, we got to stop by Chinook Montessori School so the kids could get a tour of a Peterbilt truck!!! They gave us the best send off!

**At Golden Heart Waste Management, we like to say we’re in the sustainability business — and that goes far beyond what goes into one of our shiny blue dumpsters.**
Most folks connect waste management with environmental stewardship, and they’re right. But we also believe sustainability means investing in our community, our youth, and the future leaders who will shape Interior Alaska.

When **Discovery Peak Charter School** took **1st place at the Alaska Science Olympiad**, they earned an invitation to represent Fairbanks at the **National Science Olympiad in Los Angeles, California**. That’s a huge accomplishment for these young scientists, and a perfect opportunity for us to support sustainability where it matters most — in our kids.

We’re incredibly proud of these students and their drive to pursue science, innovation, and big ideas. That’s the kind of future we want to invest in.
