JUST ANOTHER DAY AT GOLDEN HEART WASTE MANAGEMENT…

At Golden Heart Waste Management, we work with customers in some of the most remote locations in this amazing state we call Alaska.

No roads?
No highways?
No problem.

Those aren’t roadblocks… they’re just challenges we haven’t figured out how to ignore yet. 😂

Recently, one of our customers was enjoying some peace and quiet at a very remote, undisclosed moose camp location when they suddenly heard something LOUD coming through the trees.

Naturally, they assumed it was a moose.

Maybe a BIG moose.
Maybe an angry moose.
Maybe a moose that had absolutely no respect for personal space.

But nope…

IT WAS A SHINY BLUE GOLDEN HEART DUMPSTER FLYING THROUGH THE AIR!

Because when you need a dumpster in the middle of nowhere, you don’t wait for the road to come to you…

YOU SEND THE DUMPSTER.

Just another day hauling trash in Alaska. Where the scenery is beautiful, the wildlife is unpredictable, and apparently even our dumpsters know how to fly.

📢 Phone Line Outage

Well folks, our landline phones have decided to take an eight‑hour vacation.
Apparently there’s a statewide GCI outage, so it’s not just us — Alaska’s landlines collectively said “nope” this morning.

If you call, you might get:

• No dial tone
• A busy signal
• Or the sound of your own patience evaporating

Sorry for any inconvenience this causes. Trust us, we’ll be patiently staring at the phone waiting for them to ring again.

When we started Golden Heart Waste Management as a local, family-owned business right here in Fairbanks, our goal wasn’t just to serve our community—it was to build a workplace where our employees could thrive both on the job and at home.
Whether it's early winter mornings or long summer days, our employees pour everything into keeping Interior Alaska clean. The least we can do is make sure they have time for school plays, family dinners, sick kid days, and being there for the moments that matter most.
