**NFSA-MN Chapter Meeting TONIGHT!**

Join us tonight for the Minnesota NFSA Chapter Meeting: Wednesday, September 2, 4:30 PM, at The Mermaid – Coral Bay Ballroom, 2200 Mounds View Blvd., Mounds View

We’ll hear updates from NFSA-MN, our legislative lobbyist, Local 417 and the State Fire Marshal, plus welcome special guest Dave Kurasz, NFSA National Director of Industry Promotion.

It’s a great opportunity to connect with others in Minnesota’s fire sprinkler industry, hear the latest updates, and get involved. We hope to see you tonight!

🔥 We’re at the Minnesota State Fair today! 🔥

NFSA-MN is at the Governor’s Fire Prevention Day on the north end of the fairgrounds, just west of The Hangar.

Stop by, say hello and see a live fire sprinkler demonstration to learn firsthand how quickly fire sprinklers can respond and help protect lives and property.

The Next Minnesota NFSA Chapter Meeting is Wednesday, September 2 at 4:30 PM at The Mermaid in Mounds View.

We’ll hear updates from the sprinkler industry, Minnesota’s legislative lobbyist, Sprinkler Fitters Local 417, and the State Fire Marshal’s Office. We’re also pleased to welcome **Dave Kurasz, NFSA National Director of Industry Promotion**, as our in-person guest.

This year’s theme is "Climb Higher, Lead Stronger!" Come connect with colleagues and be part of the conversation about leadership and the future of the fire sprinkler industry.

The National Fire Sprinkler Association – Minnesota Chapter is proud to once again be part of Governor’s Fire Prevention Day at the Minnesota State Fair on Friday, August 28!

Stop by and see us as fire safety organizations and fire service professionals from across Minnesota come together for a full day of demonstrations, hands-on activities and fire prevention education.

We’ll be there sharing an important message: Fire sprinklers save lives, protect property and make our communities safer.

As wildfires continue across northern Minnesota, the NFSA-Minnesota Chapter extends our heartfelt thanks to everyone on the front lines and behind the scenes protecting our communities.

To the firefighters, wildland crews, EMS, law enforcement, dispatchers, aviation teams, Minnesota DNR, U.S. Forest Service, National Guard, public works staff, and countless support personnel and volunteers—thank you for your courage, sacrifice, and commitment. Minnesota is grateful for all you do. 🚒❤️

Added rain, more firefighters and a temporary reprieve from skies clogged with heavy smoke have helped crews better pinpoint and attack the fires. But officials continued to caution against complacency as they warned of a fire season that’s expected to slog on into the fall.
