Getting everything ready for the office supply swap swap! 📎🖊️

This is often the highlight of our week or month as people get SO excited, wheeling cartloads of “new-to-them” supplies back to their offices and often stopping by more than once to check on any new items to snag. Who doesn’t love free supplies? Especially when it means saving perfectly good items from the trash.

What supplies are cluttering your office? Extra binders, mystery cables, branded notebooks, half-boxes of folders? It may be time to coordinate a swap at your organization. Sometimes the easiest waste reduction strategy is simply sharing what you already have!

Each year, we host a team outing on the Chesapeake Bay to reconnect with why our work matters. Even the most beautiful waterways aren’t immune to poor waste systems. Plastic pollution doesn’t begin in the ocean... it starts on land, with everyday decisions about materials, sourcing, and disposal. This World Oceans Day, we’re celebrating the waters we love and recommitting to the systems that protect them.
