Water Mitigation Technician
Location: Flushing, MI
Job Type: Full-time (Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with emergency on-call and overtime available)

Job Responsibilities:
• Assess properties to determine the extent of water damage
• Scope and document damage, generate sketches, and develop estimates for repairs
• Mitigate affected areas through water extraction, demolition, drying, and mold remediation as necessary
• Use industry-standard equipment and software for estimates and reports
• Communicate effectively with property owners, adjusters, and team members
• Follow safety guidelines and company procedures to ensure high-quality work
Qualifications:
• Experience: At least some experience in restoration (water, fire, and/or mold) is preferred, but training is available
• Skill & Knowledge: Familiarity with industry standards, equipment, and restoration processes preferred, but not required
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, stand, kneel, and work in challenging conditions
• License & Certifications: IICRC certification is a plus; a valid driver’s license is required and must be able to pass a background check
