Patch management is the least glamorous job in cybersecurity. It's also what quietly prevents most of the breaches you never hear about.

Here's the uncomfortable truth: most successful attacks exploit a vulnerability that already had a fix. The patch existed. Nobody applied it in time.

Why that keeps happening, and how to make sure it isn't your story.

Picking an MSP might be the least reversible tech decision you make all year.

Every provider's pitch sounds the same on the call. The real differences only show up about six months in, once you're already locked in.

So before you sign, here are the questions that tell you who's actually worth it.

Here's an uncomfortable truth about M&A: the deal team usually moves on to the next transaction right when the integration work gets hard. What happens next depends entirely on the plan they left behind.

Garrett Wiesenberg, our VP of Solution Consulting, wrote a new blog on what separates integrations that finish from integrations that quietly stall. He gets into when planning should actually start (earlier than most buyers think), who's accountable for what, and the risk you inherit the moment the deal closes, whether you've assessed it or not.

The best measure of our work is what our clients experience every day.

Corsica Technologies is a G2 High Performer for Fall 2026 in Managed IT Services, Managed Security Services, and IT Outsourcing. That's seven consecutive quarters, plus our first appearance on the IT Outsourcing Grid.

G2 rankings come from verified client reviews, which is what makes this one mean something. Sixty-five clients shared their experiences this cycle, and ease of doing business with Corsica rated 93% or higher in every category.

To every client who took the time: thank you for the trust and the partnership.

Planning a Microsoft tenant-to-tenant migration? Here's something most teams learn the hard way: the data transfer is the easy part.

The failures happen at the edges. Undocumented shared mailboxes. Apps with hard-coded tenant IDs. Hundreds of devices that need re-enrollment all at once.

Garrett Wiesenberg, VP of Solution Consulting at Corsica, wrote a complete guide covering realistic timelines, the most common failure points, and the discovery work that separates clean cutovers from chaotic ones. Worth a read before your next merger, acquisition, or rebrand puts a migration on your plate.

Most companies say they trust their MSP. 65% are still considering a switch within the next 12 months.

Our CEO, Brian Harmison, unpacks that gap in Corsica's newest research, built on a survey of 600 IT and security decision-makers at U.S. organizations with 200 to 1,000 employees.

The short version: satisfaction measures the past. Readiness measures what comes next. And the capabilities buyers now expect a partner to own have shifted faster than most providers have adjusted to.

Brian breaks down where provider friction still shows up, which capabilities have moved to the center of the evaluation, and what separates a provider that maintains an environment from one that helps the business move.

"Is Microsoft 365 Copilot CMMC compliant?" It's the wrong question, and it's the one we hear most from GCC and GCC High customers.

John Joyner, our Senior Director of Technology and a 19-year Microsoft MVP, breaks down why in a new piece.

The short version: none of these frameworks certify a vendor's product. Compliance is a property of your environment, and Copilot inherits whatever posture you have already built...

Which is the part that most teams underestimate. Copilot does not create oversharing, it exposes it. Every "everyone except external users" grant, every ownerless site, every unlabeled document becomes retrievable the moment someone types the right question.

Procurement is the easy part. The cleanup that comes first can take months.

John covers where GCC and GCC High actually differ, plus the 11-phase implementation sequence we run with government and defense clients. Three of those phases have to happen before you assign a single license.

Expectations for technology partners are expanding. Corsica Technologies’ new MSP Trust Gap Report shows just how much.

Our survey of 600 IT and security decision-makers found that 95.8% trust their current MSP to act in their organization’s best interest, while 65% are considering switching providers within the next 12 months.

The reasons behind that consideration provide a clearer picture of where expectations are changing. Among those considering a switch, 33% cite limited AI or automation support, 33% cite reactive service and 30% cite a lack of strategic guidance.

Organizations are also looking to technology partners for broader capabilities. Cybersecurity operations and risk reduction, data integration and AI readiness rank among the top responsibilities respondents expect partners to support in 2026.

The findings show that organizations are evaluating technology partners against a broader set of business needs, from security and data integration to AI readiness and strategic guidance.

"They don't care it's 2 AM. What they care about is predictability."

That's how Jonathan Santos, SVP of Information Systems, Technology & Governance at Jackson Square Aviation, describes what changed as his company scaled across 32 countries.

Early on, "good enough" infrastructure works. It's fast, it's nimble, someone always knows how to fix it.

But at global scale, "someone knows how it works" isn't a strategy. It's a vacation-risk nightmare. Boards stop rewarding heroics and start expecting things to simply work.

In our latest Unraveling IT episode, Jonathan and Corsica's Peter Rodenhauser dig into what it really takes to scale IT internationally- from technical debt, to audit readiness, to AI governance.

His bottom line: growth isn't about shiny new systems. It's about fewer surprises.

Every MSP advertises fast onboarding. Almost none will put a number in the contract.

That's what happens when a term has no standard definition. Real transitions run 30 to 90 days, and the variable isn't how hard the provider works. It's how much of the environment is knowable in week one.

So "how fast can you onboard us?" is the wrong question. Better: what specifically happens in the first 30 days, and who owns each piece?

Our Client Experience Advisor Maria Thomas broke down what a structured onboarding actually looks like, from internal kickoff to go-live.
