dBA Design Group recently visited Vincennes, IN, at the invitation of Myszak and Partners Architecture & Development, to perform acoustic testing at Lincoln High School as part of our broader scope of services, including Acoustics, Audio, Video, Lighting, and Rigging Design.
Using state-of-the-art audio technology, our field technicians captured detailed acoustic data in the school’s auditorium and performing arts facilities. This process utilized a dodecahedron/subwoofer loudspeaker system to provide an omnidirectional sound source, uniformly exciting the room for accurate measurements.
Audio data was captured at strategic receiver locations throughout the auditorium to evaluate the time-domain and frequency-domain characteristics. Ambient noise levels were carefully measured and documented for consideration in the final analysis.
All data will be processed and analyzed in advanced acoustic modeling software, then further evaluated by dBA’s experienced consultants to develop efficient, tailored design solutions for Lincoln High School's Auditorium and Performing Arts Classrooms.
